PROGRAMS
CROSSFIT
Our CrossFit group classes are typically an hour long and they consist of a warm-up, strength training, and metabolic conditioning or also know as a WOD (workout of the day). The programming is constantly changing so that our members don’t get bored doing the same old thing.
YOGA
We teach vinyasa style yoga, which basically means “arranged in a certain way” and we coordinate breath with each pose. Teaching this style allows for a person to become familiar with the postures and how to focus on breathing (one thing we sometimes forget about when working out). The class starts with a warm-up, sun salutations, postures to create strength in the body as well as new found balance and coordination followed by a cool down. We also offer a Yoga Lift class which incorporates light weights with yoga postures to help build strength and feel that fire.
Fundamentals
Have fun learning how to move your body the way it was intended to be moved. Learn the 9 basic movements of CrossFit as well as how to properly use a barbell and other equipment and movements typically used in a CrossFit class.
